Beautiful Kollam and Varkala itinerary

 Kerala tourism towards Beautiful Kollam and Varkala   

Route

Rajapalayam (TN)-> Sengottai (TN )-> Jatayu Earth Centre(KL) -> Kollam(KL) -> Varkala(KL)

Day 1

You can start your journey from any of the south parts like Madurai, Tirunelveli, Nager coil, 

Nearest Railway station is Kollam Junction or Take Flight till Trivandrum

Start with Jatayu Earth Centre

Can head to Jatayu Earth centre which is very gigantic and wonderful place to start with. You will be reaching around Afternoon.

Entry fees is around 350 per head , and it is situated in the Hill.

So we need to pick Rope car (315 Per head ) or Helicopter (2000 per head)

While we visited, due to the Wind flow is high, Rope car service has been blocked.

We have took path by walk till Hill top, Around 800+ steps taking around 40 min.

No plastic is allowed inside. Better to carry steel bottles or copper bottles


Food we need to carry, No proper food is available, only cafeteria will be there. for basic munching

can spend easily for  2 hours there, can get some photographs 


So after visiting, Take lunch nearby and head towards Kollam

Take a room there to stay according to our budget, Fresh up. and Heads towards Kollam Thangassery Light House .

Visit sun set from Kollam beaches.

Can get real beach attraction from Kollam main beach. Rest all beaches are less crowded, can avoid if you going night. like Thirumullavaram Beach.

Have a nice Kerala style restaurant to enjoy the cuisine of theirs



Note : Most of the time we wont find proper hotels to dine at highways at Kerala, So better to have when ever you find the town or city in your way

Take rest for the first day in good hotel at Kollam 





Day 2

Start your day with Munroe Island Boating.

There are multiple vendors for Boar Services,  will leave contact details at last which we used during our visit.






A full round trip takes around 2 hours, charges as per the Duration we take and members we onboard.
Carry umbrella and water bottle snacks as much as you can, you wont get any in mid of the lake.

Travelling around the village and entering into the lake is a Beautiful experience we will have in Kerala back waters

Then we took Lunch again at Kollam city near our hotel.





We took some rest and started to Varkala to spend our New Year Evening

Varkala New Year Eve.

One of the best New year evening we can get there.!!!!
Night parties across the beaches and cliff.
Open Parties on streets.

A little Goa kind of thing we can to see here.







Can spend a day extra if we have time in our trip at Varkala

Day 3 - Return Journey

Paalaruvi Water Falls.

We thought of Visiting Waterfall in our return Journey
Either Kutralam or Paalaruvi Falls.

Water was adequate to take a shower during Winter. 






we have ended this Journey with all Scenic places and with Good people around.

Difference between a muffler and a catalytic converter

A muffler makes the  car  quiet, the cat makes the exhaust clean. Cars built after 1974 originally had both, but it's legal to run with no muffler as long as the car isn't too loud. The cat is required, you can't pass emissions without one. Some people will remove the cat, if they live in a county without  emissions testing , but that is illegal. If you have a car with no  catalytic converter , and the muffler goes bad, sure you could put a cat on instead. They're more expensive, and louder, but that would get you legal. Actually, the cat is supposed to be mounted closer to the engine, where there is more exhaust heat to burn off exhaust crud. I suppose if you wanted to, you could run two catalytic converters. That would greatly restrict your exhaust and cut down on horsepower, probably reduce fuel economy as well. The advantages of using a Nitrox suspension - Gas charged suspensions. The rear shock absorbers on current Bajaj Pulsar series bikes are also popularly known as NITROX shock absorbers . These types of shock absorbers are actually called as ‘Gas Filled Shock Absorbers’. The visual differentiation between a conventional shock absorber and a gas filled shock absorber is a small canister (box) which is attached on one side of it. This canister holds a small amount of Nitrogen gas in it. Hence these hydraulic shock absorbers or dampers are called as gas filled shock absorbers. So what is the reason to use a gas filled hydraulic dampers instead of using a conventional one? we'll find out the answer here.
