Classic vs Bullet vs ThunderBird ? Which is best Royal Enfield ?

Basically before choosing Bike, We need to review ourselves what type of rider we are?

  1. Urban Rider (City)
  2. Touring (Highways)
  3. Sport (Top End/ Track)


 If you are into Sport, Then Definitely Classic, Bullet & ThunderBird Bikes are not meant for those.

 Then Comes here only two Options:

  1. Urban Rider
  2. Tourer


 Basically, all three bikes are meant for both riding purposes, But we need to choose the Usage weightage.

 Lets get into Details

Bullet/ Electra :



 This Bike gives extreme Comfort due to its Curved Seating arrangement, And its Raised Handle Bars Than Classic 350.
And due to this We can get it for Both Touring and City Riding.

 Sitting Posture : Upright
Handle Bar : Raised and Pulled towards Rider for Relaxing posture

Classic :



This Bikes gives the comfort in City and Due to its Riding Posture, Can get into curves and corners easily than Bullet. (But not like Sports Bike though).
But in long travel, Some might feel uncomfortable due to its Handle bar position which is lower than bullet.
And seat though we got extra springs under the Seat, It won't feel as comfort as Bullet.

 Sitting Posture : Upright
Handle Bar : Lower and Straight elbow posture.

ThunderBird 350



This is the comfortable Royal Enfield ever made for Touring.
But in City, We might feel uncomfrtable in U turns and Turns due to its Raised Handle Bars.
You need to Strech your hands over to get a perfect Turn in City Rides.

 Sitting Posture : Upright
Handle Bar : Up-Raised and Extreme Relaxing posture.

ThunderBird 350X



This is same as Tunderbird 350. This is the comfortable Royal Enfield ever made for Touring.
The Handle bars are raised and Straighten, which feels comfortable in City as well as Highway, Touring.

 Sitting Posture : Upright
Handle Bar : Up-Raised and Relaxing posture.

So on Conclusion, As we discussed above on Usage Weightage will see further


 Bullet : 
40% Touring(Highways) + 60% Urban ride (City)

 Classic:
30% Touring(Highways) + 70% Urban ride (City)

 ThunderBird:
70% Touring(Highways) + 30% Urban ride (City)

Royal Enfield known for Customization.So we can use all three bikes for all purposes

Bullet Customization:

Rear tye is only of 90/90 Section, So can change 110/90 Section for better ride quality

Classic Customization:

Need to change Handle Bars to RD350 or Bullet Handle bar, Baahubali Handle for comfort relaxing posture.
And Seat needs to add cushion or Buy some Additional Portable Seat cushion

ThunderBird Customization:

Need to change Handle bar a bit and to be straighten for Comfortable city use also.

A muffler makes the  car  quiet, the cat makes the exhaust clean. Cars built after 1974 originally had both, but it's legal to run with no muffler as long as the car isn't too loud. The cat is required, you can't pass emissions without one. Some people will remove the cat, if they live in a county without  emissions testing , but that is illegal. If you have a car with no  catalytic converter , and the muffler goes bad, sure you could put a cat on instead. They're more expensive, and louder, but that would get you legal. Actually, the cat is supposed to be mounted closer to the engine, where there is more exhaust heat to burn off exhaust crud. I suppose if you wanted to, you could run two catalytic converters. That would greatly restrict your exhaust and cut down on horsepower, probably reduce fuel economy as well. The advantages of using a Nitrox suspension - Gas charged suspensions. The rear shock absorbers on current Bajaj Pulsar series bikes are also popularly known as NITROX shock absorbers . These types of shock absorbers are actually called as ‘Gas Filled Shock Absorbers’. The visual differentiation between a conventional shock absorber and a gas filled shock absorber is a small canister (box) which is attached on one side of it. This canister holds a small amount of Nitrogen gas in it. Hence these hydraulic shock absorbers or dampers are called as gas filled shock absorbers.
