PSLV C23 successfully launched

PSLV-C23 carrying French Earth Observation Satellite SPOT-7 and four co-passenger spacecraft was successfully launched from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre at Sriharikota. SPOT 7 is an Earth observing satellite, similar to Indian Remote Satellite System (IRSS).
ISRO has so far launched 35 satellites of foreign countries onboard its workhorse Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi  witnessed the launch of the satellite and it may be noted that Modi's presence signifies India's commitment to space and other related missile technologies as top priority for the country.

Congrats ISRO and team !
